Privacy Policy

MyDigitalAdda respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to mydigitaladda.com and any subdomains.

What we collect

• Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, session length, approximate location (city level), device, browser, and referrer. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.
• Ad personalisation data via Google AdSense, including cookies and identifiers used to serve relevant ads. Google’s ad policies describe this in detail.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, if you submit it to the footer form. We send weekly digests and announcements. Unsubscribe is one click in every email.
• Contact form submissions: name, email, and the message body. Stored only as long as needed to reply.

What we do not collect

• We do not require accounts to read reviews.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not run fingerprinting or canvas-tracking scripts.

Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes:

1. Analytics — Google Analytics first-party cookies, anonymised.
2. Advertising — Google AdSense cookies for ad selection and measurement.

You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to any content on this site. EU and UK visitors are shown a consent banner where required.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell, but the right exists)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mydigitaladda.com. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

• Analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics default)
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
• Contact form: 12 months from last reply

Third-party services

We use the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics
• Google AdSense
• Vercel (hosting)

Children

MyDigitalAdda is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, the “Last updated” date at the top changes. Material changes are announced in the newsletter.
